Since her last visit to Australian shores in 2018, St Vincent has released Daddy’s Home (2021) and most recently, All Born Screaming; a sonic invitation for listeners to test the limits of what’s possible – and then keep going. Emblematic of an artist unwilling to be bound by anything except the confines of her own creativity, her seventh record is bold, dramatic and unapologetically forthright.
