The Long Sunset is a boutique, place-based, contemporary live music festival to be staged on Friday 1st November – Sunday 3rd November 2024 at the idyllic Elysian Fields near Canungra, just 65km from Brisbane.
In 2024 The Long Sunset will be headlined by iconic Australian Artists Matt Corby and Angie McMahon and adds an international act for the first time – with LEISURE (NZ) taking to the stage alongside a top-shelf, culturally and artistically diverse line-up of Australian acts including Ngaiire, Emma Donovan, Sons of The East, Eliza and The Delusionals, local artist Lyric, with more to be announced.
Campers arriving at Elysian Fields on Friday will be treated to ‘First Night Fever’ – including Artisan food & beverage offerings from around the region alongside roving performers and live music in the bar to kick off the weekend and shift into festival-mode. On Saturday, festival-goers can browse local artisanal products at the ‘Artisan Alley’ marketplace, with local food vendors and wineries offering a taste of the region.
With the early summer sun high in the sky, a Welcome to Country by Traditional Owners signals the start of the mainstage event showcasing a carefully curated lineup featuring some of Australia’s most powerful performers. As the sun slowly descends to the mountains framing the stage, iconic Australian artists Angie McMahon and Matt Corby will take to the stage to show why they are selling out stadiums around the country in 2024, featuring brand new music and well-loved tunes from their back-catalogue.
